A 3.1 magnitude earthquake hit Mansalay at 11:40 p.m. on Friday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.
There were no reports of damage or injuries from the quake that struck six kilometers north of Oriental Mindoro municipality.
The tectonic tremor struck at a medium depth of 89 kilometers.
