A total of 49 poor families have benefited from the financial assistance given by the Provincial Social Welfare Development Office (PSWDO) in Oriental Mindoro.

Under the Aid to Individuals in Crisis Situation program, the families received a total of P53,675 in aid for medicines, laboratory tests, CT scan, hospital bills, food, and even burial assistance, the Provincial Information Office said.

Program recipients were evaluated to determine their eligibility to avail of PSWDO assistance.
