Bansud High wins medals at World Robot Games

The Philippine Robotics Team from Bansud National High School — Regional Science High School for MIMAROPA clinched multiple medals at the prestigious World Robot Games Thailand Championship held on August 19-20.

The team proudly brought home multiple accolades:

  • Copper Medal (3rd Runner Up) in Football 4×4
    • Team Members: Clyde Vincent Perez, Beatriz Calderon, Dionne Gayle Matira, and Lance Aaron Nazareno.
    • Coaches: Nolan Fadriquilan and Marilyn Muleta.
  • Bronze Medal (2nd Runner Up) in Innovation: SDG – Senior Category for Project Poxifier
    • Team Members: Clyde Vincent Perez and Christian Jairuss Benitez.
    • Coach: Alexis Albo.
  • Bronze Medal (2nd Runner Up) in Innovation: SDG – Senior Category for Project Trident
    • Team Members: Beatriz Calderon and Dionne Gayle Matira.
    • Coach: Alexis Albo.

Apart from the awardees, the Philippine delegates also included Ariane Grace Yadao, Ethan Coloma, Kowe Alcosin, Denisse Miel Jalotjot, Aaron Gabriel Jimenez, Gail Pauleen Lamboloto, Roselle Angiela Palma, and Vicente Manuel Soller.

The Bansud National High School expressed its gratitude to the team, their supportive parents, the Department of Education administration, and the Local Government Unit officials.

In their statement, the school encouraged everyone to “celebrate these budding prodigies and their journey toward a future paved with innovation and endless possibilities.”
