Overcoming disability: Naujan resident shines in singing competition

Feddy Fajardo, a resident of Barangay Malinao, has proven that disability is never a barrier to achieving greatness.

In an impressive display of talent and determination, Fajardo earned the esteemed 3rd place position in a singing competition held as part of the 45th Provincial Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week in Pinamalayan town.

Fajardo, an active member of the Samahan ng mga May Kapansanan (SAMAKA) in Naujan, showcased his talent in singing despite complications in his legs that prevent him from walking.

The event aimed to promote the rights of people with disabilities, empower their voices, break barriers, and foster a more inclusive and equitable society for all Naujeños, providing them with opportunities to flourish and share their identity and skills.

Fajardo’s outstanding performance in the singing competition served as an inspiration to many, proving that determination and talent know no bounds, even in the face of physical challenges.

His success exemplifies the spirit of resilience and perseverance that the Provincial Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week seeks to celebrate.

The local government of Naujan, led by Punumbayan Henry Joel C. Teves, extends its warmest congratulations to Fajardo and all participants who showcased their abilities and talents during the event.

The municipal government assures Naujeños with disabilities that they will always be supported and their welfare will remain a top priority.

As Naujan continues to promote a society that values and champions the rights of all its residents, regardless of their physical capabilities, stories like Fajardo’s serve as a reminder that with determination and community support, individuals can break barriers and make a positive impact in their communities.
