Language skills training to continue in Oriental Mindoro

CALAPAN CITY—The Language Skills Institute (LSI) will continue to train public school teachers, government employees, out-of-school youth and job seekers in Oriental Mindoro on the use of the English language.

Governor Arnan Panaligan and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority
(TESDA) Regional Director Baron L. Lagran signed a memorandum of agreement for the joint implementation of the Specialized English Enhancement Course for High School Teachers and other Language Users.

Those seeking employment and the out-of school youth will undergo the English Language Proficiency training and Finishing Course for Call Center Agents.

As of December, about 260 people in Oriental Mindoro benefitted from the different language programs of the LSI.
