A Mindoreña has emerged as the topnotcher in the 2023 Licensure Examination for Teachers in the elementary level.

Mikaela Andrea T. Bonador from the town of Lubang, Occidental Mindoro topped the test, together with Fritzie Mae S. Unabia. Both achieved a score of 92.20%.

Bonador graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Elementary Education from the University of the Philippines – Diliman.

The Professional Regulation Commission released the results Friday, May 19, revealing that out of the 60,896 examinees who took the elementary teachers’ examination, a total of 24,819 successfully passed, resulting in a passing rate of 40.76%.
