Four new 10-wheeler dump trucks, four regular backhoes, and one amphibious backhoe have arrived at the port of Calapan.
These additional heavy equipment were purchased by the provincial government of Oriental Mindoro to expedite the implementation of infrastructure projects, including those related to dredging and flood mitigation throughout the province.
According to Governor Humerlito “Bonz” Dolor, the purchase of these new heavy equipment is part of the government’s commitment to fast-track the completion of various infrastructure projects across the province.
He emphasized that these equipment will be instrumental in addressing flood-related problems that have long plagued the area.
On January 31, the provincial government also acquired a new mini-dump truck. Its acquisition contributed to the speedy completion of various government projects in different towns.
