Calapan gears up for Pandang-Gitab festival, closes several major roads

In preparation for the much-awaited Pandang-Gitab festival in Oriental Mindoro, the Provincial Information Office has announced that several roads will be temporarily closed.

This, according to the PIO, is meant to accommodate the upcoming festivities, including the Street Dancing Competition, Grand Santacruzan, and the inauguration of Plaza del Gobernador: Ang Liwasan ng Mamamayan.

The road closures will take place on Sunday, April 30, and Monday, May 1, and motorists are advised to take alternative routes while the affected roads are still closed to the public.

The temporary road closures are necessary to ensure the smooth flow of the festivities and the safety of both participants and spectators.
