Over 60 patients get free surgeries in Oriental Mindoro

Rosita Consul, a 63-year-old mother from Brgy. Lalud in Calapan City, has been suffering from Cholelithiasis or gallstones for over five years. She needs around P250,000 so she could be put under the knife.

Thanks to medical mission conducted by the World Philippines Surgical Foundation, Inc. (WPSFI), in partnership with the Oriental Mindoro Provincial Hospital (OMPH), Consul was among the more than 60 patients in Oriental Mindoro who underwent major surgeries for free.

Meanwhile, more than 150 patients had minor operations at OMPH last Monday, the last day of the medical mission.

Consul expressed her gratitude to the provincial government and the medical team for her free surgery.
