Actress and host Maja Salvador is bidding farewell to the noontime show Eat Bulaga as she prepares for her upcoming wedding to her fiancé Rambo Nuñez in July.

Crown Artist Management, Salvador’s talent agency, announced the news on its official Facebook page, citing uncertainties surrounding the show as a factor in the actress’ decision.

According to the statement, being a Dabarkads was a dream come true for Salvador one and a half years ago. For now, she has to give it a pause.

The agency also requested the viewers’ and fans’ utmost understanding and thanked the show’s hosts and staff for the opportunity.

Salvador’s last episode on Eat Bulaga has yet to be disclosed but fans expressed their support for the actress and wished her all the best on her upcoming nuptials.

The news of Salvador’s departure comes a month after rebranding rumors sparked talks that led to TAPE producer Tony Tuviera being “kicked out.” Despite the incident, Eat Bulaga mainstays Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon expressed their unwavering commitment to the noontime show.
