El Nido, Palawan, has once again been recognized as one of the world’s top beaches, with its Hidden Beach ranking 4th out of the 100 top beaches on Earth.
The World Beach Guide, a website based in England, highlights El Nido as much more than just a single beach. It comprises around 50 beaches set among a series of small islands, towering marble cliffs, lush tropical vegetation, ancient caves, and enchanting lagoons.
One of these 50 beaches is the stunning Hidden Beach, situated on the northeast shores of the El Nido region of the Palawan archipelago’s Matinloc Island. Guarded by sheer cliffs, this tropical paradise is tucked away within a small cove and provides a fantastic contrast to the hustle and bustle of the town’s streets.
El Nido is often referred to as the Philippines’ last frontier, and for good reason. Its unspoiled tropical paradise remains untouched by commercialization, providing visitors with an authentic experience that is hard to find elsewhere. The town’s natural beauty is truly remarkable, with crystal clear waters, vibrant coral reefs, and an abundance of marine life.
Aside from El Nido, Boracay also made the list, ranking 19th. The recognition of these two Philippine destinations highlights the country’s potential as a top tourist destination, attracting visitors from all over the world.
As the world slowly begins to recover from the effects of the pandemic, the recognition of El Nido and Boracay as top beaches serves as a reminder of the beauty and wonder that awaits us all.
