The Association of Barangay Captains (ABC)-Oriental Mindoro Chapter has elected Jean Paolo R. Umali as its new president, the Philippine Information Agency reported.

He was sworn in by Vice-Governor Humerlito A. Dolor as a new member of the Provincial Board at the  Batasang Panlalawigan in Calapan City.

The board approved the resolution recognizing Umali as the new president of the Association of Barangay Captains in the province. He replaced Board Member  Bernardita D. Arreola, whose term expired last month.
