5 groups get P300,000 in livelihood aid in Oriental Mindoro

Five organizations received a total of P300,000 as livelihood assistance from the provincial government of Oriental Mindoro.

The organizations each received P60,000 from Governor Alfonso Umali Jr. during a simple ceremony recently at the Provincial Capitol Square in Calapan City.

The assistance package is under the program Literasi at Kasanayan sa Hanapbuhay sa Kalibliban (LIKHA KA) being implemented by Oriental Mindoro.

The organizations that received the livelihood assistance are the micro-lending project Samahang Likha of Brgy. Maidlang of Calapan led by Helen Concepcion; Samahang Pangkabuhayan ng San Isidro of Naujan led by Lolita Garcia; Gintong Butil ng Adrialuna of Naujan managed by Roselle Boongaling; Samahang Nagkakaisa ng Ordovilla in Victoria under the leadership of Clarita Feliciano; and Samahang Pangkabuhayan ng Iligan of Pinagsabangan I, Naujan under the management of Lagring Madrigal.
