Oriental Mindoro will experience a daylong brownout on Tuesday, the Oriental Mindoro Electric Cooperative announced on Monday.

The 10-hour power outage will affect the entire province except for the towns of Pinamalayan and Gloria, Ormeco said.

The management of the power firm cited annual preventive maintenance of the Napocor-50MVA Substation in Sta. Isabel, Calapan City as reason for the massive blackout.
