MANILA—A low pressure area will bring heavy rains over the western section of Luzon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
At 2 p.m. Sunday, the weather disturbance was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 390 kilometers west of Iba, Zambales.
It was also forecast to bring monsoon rains over Luzon and Western Visayas.
Pagasa advised residents living in low lying areas and near mountain slopes to take all the necessary precautionary measures.
