A 4.7 magnitude quake struck off Mamburao at 2:28 a.m. Monday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.
There were no reports of damage or injuries from the quake that hit 86 kilometers southwest of Mamburao at a shallow depth of 44 kilometers.
On Sunday, a 3.5 magnitude quake occurred 35 kilometers southwest of Looc at an intermediate depth of 78 kilometers.
The Philippines sits on the Pacific “Ring of Fire” where continental plates collide causing frequent seismic and volcanic activity.
