PUERTO PRINCESA CITY—Palawan police have confiscated a cache of firearms and ammunition following a rain on a suspected “Paltik” factory in the province Thursday.
Philippine National Police Provincial Director Senior Superintendent Rey Jagmis presented to the media Alberto Secuya alias “Jun” or “Pikot” and Elpidio Lastimoso alias “Pawing”, both residents of the municipality of Taytay, Palawan.
Different caliber of firearms and ammunitions and materials used for making paltik were seized from the suspects, Jasmig said.
He said that investigators were looking for evidence connecting the duo to a recent ambush in the province, which left three policemen wounded.
