A low pressure area was spotted 200 kilometers south-southwest of Puerto Princesa City, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Tuesday.
In its 5 p.m. advisory Tuesday, Pagasa said that Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. The rest of Luzon will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated light rains.
Calapan City will be mostly cloudy with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. Temperature ranges from 23 to 29 degrees Celsius.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.
Elsewhere, winds will be moderate coming from the southeast to northeast with moderate seas.

Fishing boats and other small seacrafts are advised not to venture out into the sea while larger sea vessels are alerted against big waves.
