Calapan City will be mostly cloudy with rainshowers on Thursday, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services said.
Temperature was forecast at high 29 degrees Celcius and at low 22 degrees.
At 2 p.m. Wednesday, a Shallow Low Pressure Area (SLPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 1,000 kilometers southeast of Davao City.
Mindanao will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. Visayas will be partly cloudy to at times cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. Luzon will have partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated light rains.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere winds will be light to moderate blowing from the northeast to north with slight to moderate seas.
