MANILA—Filipino-American rapper apl.de.ap is joining this year’s commemoration of the Edsa Revolution, organizers said.

“Happy to announce that apl.de.ap has agreed to perform on February 25 for the 25th anniversary of EDSA! Hope to see you all there!” said Edsa People Power Commission chief Ogie Alcasid in his Tweeter account on Saturday.

Apl.de.ap of The Black Eyed Peas will perform along with other celebrities, said Alcasid.

This year’s celebration, dubbed as “Tatak Edsa 25″, will be held at the People Power Monument from 6 p.m. until midnight.
