MANILA—Oil giant Pilipinas Shell has announced that the supply of gas in Luzon is back to normal despite the continued closure of its the Batangas-Manila pipeline.
Shell said in a statement that its customers can now avail the full range of its fuel products at its more than 500 retail stations in Luzon.
“We have employed various contingency measures to ensure that we fully provide our customers with a safe and reliable supply of fuel,” said Bong Fadullon, Shell retail general manager.
The closure of the Batangas-Manila petroleum pipeline caused temporary shutdown in a number of Shell retail stations in Luzon for the past three months due to lack of fuel supply.
