A 1.9 magnitude earthquake struck off Mamburao at 11:24 a.m. on Tuesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology.
There were no reported damage or injuries from the feeble quake that hit 38 kilometers southwest of the Occidental Mindoro capital town.
The tectonic tremor had an intermediate depth of 74 kilometers.
The Philippine sits on the Pacific “Ring of Fire” where continental plates collide causing frequent seismic and volcanic activity.
