The Divine Word College of Calapan Alumni Association (DWCCAA) will hold its Alumni Night celebration on February 22.

Carrying the theme “No Boundaries, More Realities,” the event is expected to be attended by about 250 graduates of the SVD-run college.

“It is a citywide celebration and most of the participants here are coming from Calapan City. It will start at 3:00 p.m. with a Mass as opening activity,” said Don Stepherson V. Calda, External and Alumni Affairs Officer of DWCC.

“There will be more or less 250 alumni who will grace the event,” Calda said. The DWCC gymn will serve as venue for the gathering.

A forum titled “DWCC Alumni Climate Change Forum” will be held at 4 p.m. with Presidential Adviser on Environment and Climate Change Secretary Elisea Gozun as guest speaker.

The forum aims to raise awareness on the issue of climate change and its impact on the environment.

Raffle draws and awarding of a Plaque of Recognition to all alumni 65 years old and above will also be held.

The partners for the Alumni Night celebration are the DWCC Education Department, Globe Telecommunications, City Government of Calapan, City Department of Education and Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro.

All DWCC alumni are encouraged to attend the event.
