PUERTO PRINSESA CITY—A Cebu Pacific plane’s tire burst as it landed at the Puerto Princesa International Airport last Tuesday.

But all its 129 passengers were unhurt in the accident although one passenger was rushed to a hospital after the blood pressure shot up.

Passengers said that upon landing, they heard a loud explosion. A blackout inside the plane ensued and the airconditioning system conked out.

The management of Cebu Pacific has apologized to the passengers as it promised to investigate the incident.
