PUERTO PRINCESA CITY—Mayor Edward S. Hagedorn’s nephew has been elected president of the Association of Barangay Captains (ABC) in this city.

Patrick Hagedorn, village chief of Barangay San Miguel in Puerto Princesa City, ran unopposed and garnered 61 votes at Tuesday’s polls of Liga ng mga Barangay.

Hagedorn became the village chief of Barangay San Miguel after his father, Douglas Hagedorn, quit his post shortly after he won in the October 26 barangay election.

Douglas Hagedorn is a brother of Mayor Hagedorn.

Patrick Hagedorn will sit as ex-officio member of the Sangguniang Panglungsod of Puerto Princesa, representing the city’s barangay captains.
