PUERTO PRINCESA CITY—The Montenegro Shipping Lines has announced it will start plying the Palawan-Antique route.

The RORO operation of Montenegro will service the San Jose, Antique—Cuyo Island, Palawan—Taytay, Palawan route.

The new service is seen to boost tourism and greatly help in the mobility of people and goods between the two provinces.

Montenegro and Milagrosa Shipping have been servicing the Puerto Princesa City-Cuyo Island-Iloilo route for years now.

Negotiations are ongoing with the Philippine Ports Authority and the Department of Transportation and Communications for the construction of RORO facilities in San Jose, Cuyo Island and Taytay ports.
