Calapan water firm to go public next year

MANILA—Calapan Ventures, Inc., the company that supplies water to 7,380 households in Calapan City, has filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

CVI, a subsidiary of publicly listed Jolliville Holdings Corp., has an initial public offering of 42.16 million common shares with a par value of P1.00 per share, the company said in a disclosure. Offering price ranges from P3 to P4 per share.

The CVI-owned Calapan Water Works Corp. supplies water to 17 urban villages and 14 adjoining rural villages in the provincial capital of Oriental Mindoro.

It has five wells with a total capacity of 130 liters per second.
