
A 6.1 magnitude earthquake struck off southern Mindanao at 2:47 p.m. Wednesday, the US Geological Survey said.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injury from the strong quake that hit 111 kilometers south-southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur at a depth of 69.6 kilometers.
