The Calapan City government has announced a monthlong schedule of festivities that will culminate in the celebration of the 2011 Sto. Niño de Calapan fiesta on January 1.

The celebrations, under the theme “Mahal na Patrong Sto, Niño Gabay ng Bagong Calapan”,
kicked off with the lighting of a giant Christmas tree at the city plaza. Variety shows and contests will be held, including the annual Ms Calapan City beauty pageant.
