President Benigno Aquino has approved the promotion of four senior officers of the Mimaropa police regional office.

Promoted as new police colonels are Senior Superintendent Edwin M Capanzana; Senior Superintendent Gregorio N Lim, Senior Superintendent Loreto L Malaybalay and Senior Superintendent Mamerto V Valencia.

The four are all members of the Mimaropa Public Relations Office. The Philippine National Police Mimaropa office is based in Calapan City.

Aquino endorsed the promotion of the four police officials, along with 54 others across the country, based on the recommendation of PNP Chief Director General Raul M. Bacalzo and Local Government Secretary and National Police Commission Chairman Jesse M. Robredo.
