President Benigno Aquino has approved the P10 million fund for the Mimaropa Regional Athletic Association meet set to be held in February next year.

On the request of Gov. Alfonso V. Umali, the fund will be used for the improvement of sports facilities, including the LEMNAHIS Grandstand.

Last month, Aquino also granted P10 million as additional fund for the construction of the first Batasang Panlalawigan of Oriental Mindoro.
