Alfonso “P.A.” Umali has been proclaimed winner in the gubernatorial race in Oriental Mindoro, defeating reelectionist Governor Arnan Panaligan.
Provincial election officials made the proclamation at 3:23 a.m. Thursday.
Umali won by a slim margin of 105 votes over Panaligan.

Thank you for the Umali Family! They fought for the people…and it is decreed for the history to repeat the era of developments the late Gov Umali Sr. started way back years ago in Oriental Mindoro.

Sana po maipatupad ang project na calapan-batangas bridge magandang idea po ito para sa administrasyong Umali… Para po mabilis ang product na mailuluwas at madaling makararating sa manila… at wala ng sakuna sa dagat na magaganap… alam kong imposible ang project nato… pero magiging posible to kung magiging aktibo ang mamumuno…. at bibigyang pansin pero king hindi imposible nga ito.

Sana mabigyan mo ng priority sa mga projects mo ang 2nd district lalo na ang roxas, mansalay, bulalacao area na talaga namang di man lang pinansin ng mga nkalipas n mga governor. sa totoo lang ikaw tagla ang binoto namin para magkaroon man lng ng pag-asa umunlad ang 2nd district. di kagaya ng mga nakaraan na puro na lang 1st district. gumawa sana kayo ng mga proyekto para magkaroon ng trabaho ang marami sa mga taga mansalay at bulalacao. at patubig na rin sa mga tubigan sa mansalay area. maraming salamat po!!!
