300 urban poor families soon to have their own homes in Calapan

Informal settlers in Calapan City will soon have their own houses.
Brgy. Bulalo and Lumangbayan are being readied as relocation site for about 300 families living along river banks in San Vicente, said Mayor Doy Leachon.
Leachon said that housing for the growing number of urban poor in the Calapan is part of the flagship program of his administration, “Ang Bagong Calapan.”
The program has four components, where housing falls under the component “Mapagkalingang Pamamahala.” Once ready, the sites will be able to accommodate 300 families from the informal settlers
