Ejay Falcon reveals the naked truth

The cyberspace is abuzz over an alleged nude photo of young actor Ejay Falcon. He flatly denied it’s him in the “leaked pic”, but the rumor just won’t die.

“Alam ko sa sarili ko na hindi po ako ‘yon,” the Pola native who rose from obscurity to become ABS-CBN’s budding dramatic actor said.

The photo shows a young man in deep slumber—drunk maybe—with his shirt raised up to his chest and boxer shorts  pulled down a bit, baring his genitals.

A closer look into the photo and you’d say the celebrity Mindoreño and the stripped guy could easily pass off as a Siamese twin.

“Marami naman po akong kamukha,” the 21-year-old actor said in an interview with “The Buzz”.  ”Hindi nila mapapatunayan na ako talaga ‘yon.”

It wasn’t the first time the 2008 Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus big winner figured in nasty controversies. He was once rumored to be having a gay patron and that the “promdi hottie” was a callboy before he hugged the limelight.

He simply shrugged those rumors off.

But the latest tittle-tattle doesn’t need an iota of imagination to keep the rumor mill alive as it comes with a clear digital image that netizens posted and reposted, linked and embedded.

The French-Filipino actor appealed to cyber phonies to stop peddling the naked lie.

“Sana tigilan ninyo na po kasi marami kayong taong nabibiktima, marami kayong taong nababastos,” said the six-footer actor.

“Hindi lang naman ako ang artistang biktima noon,” lamented Ejay, also a commercial model.

For obvious reasons, photos of supposed showbiz personalities in their birthday suits are a favorite of cyber leakers. Some are real, some are masterfully faked.

And like the celebrity video scandals, they almost always rank high in Google search.

In today’s age of digital information, amid a lack of laws to curb ugly cyber intrigues, celebrities have to face the harsh reality  that rumormongers will never run out of ideas on how to keep the gossip mill buzzing.

That’s the naked truth about show business.
