AROUND MINDORO
BANCURO RUINS. The Bancuro Church Ruins, or the Simbahang Bato, is located in Brgy. Bancurro in Naujan, Oriental Mindoro. It was built in the 17th century by the Augustinian priests to serve as house of worship and a place of refuge against the Moro invaders. But in 1824, the Moros conquered the area and burned the fort.
